Politecnico di Milano and the Study Programme in Aerospace Engineering would like to offer to a group of students the opportunity to get in touch with the world of chronographs and the partnership with the Swiss chronograph brand Longines, which supported the refurbishing of Politecnico di Milano's flying classroom – the airplane used for educational and research activities by the Department of Aerospace Science and Engineering – through a workshop.

This invitation is addressed to all students in the Aerospace Engineering BSc, Aeronautical Engineering MSc, and Space Engineering MSc that - by October 15, 2022 - obtained a weighted average mark equal or higher than 27/30 and - in the AY 2021-22 - successfully collected no less than 50 CFU.

To apply for participation, students in the above-mentioned position must fill the online form at the address

and by uploading a composition on the topic “The measurement of time and the development of aerospace technologies”. This composition must be an original creation of the student and must not be longer than 1500 words.

Students may apply from October 17 to 28, 2022.

During the workshop, the BSc student and the MSc students that ranked first shall be presented a Longines chronograph.
