Riccardo Bianco-Mengotti will be conducting a seminar on Rotorcraft Design Workflow within the Rotorcraft Design course, MSc in Aeronautical Engineering, on October 25, 2023, at 9:15 am.
The seminar will touch on the different roles and phases during the design of a rotorcraft, including helicopters or VTOL vehicles, focusing in particular on the initial phases of the conceptual and preliminary design.
The seminar is open to all students, especially those who are about to graduate or have recently graduated. Following the seminar, there will be an open session where attendees can engage in discussions about the best knowledge skills and attitudes required for the various professional roles in the design workflow as well as opportunities for collaboration with the industry.
Speaker:
Riccardo Bianco-Mengotti, head of Concept Design at Leonardo Helicopters, has more than 20 years of experience in aircraft design at Leonardo, working on airplane, helicopter, tiltrotor and VTOL projects in Italy and in the United States.
