The presentation of the last developments of the AM3aC2A project ↗, result of the collaboration from the SIAMS Lab ↗ of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of the Politecnico di Milano and CNR-ISSMC, was awarded with the Chairs’ Choice Best Oral Presentation.

This work, authored by A.M. Caporale ↗ and A. Airoldi ↗, deals with the non-linear and damage modelling of ZrB2-based ultrahigh temperature ceramic matrix composites, a key material for the development of the next generation of supersonic vehicles.
