Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DAER), wants to remind the memorable feat accomplished by Neil Amstrong and Buzz Aldrin the 20th of July 1969 with the Apollo 11 which landed for the first time a human being on the moon.

She’s Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano ‐ Aerospace Science & Technology Dept.
She’s member of the Human & Robotic Exploration Advisory Group (HESAC) of ESA; member of the Prospect User Group (PUG) of ESA for the prospect payload to fly to the Moon pole in 2022 on Luna 27; chair of the sampling techs for ESA in the PUG; member of the International Academy of Astronautics, member of the HERA and AIDA WG to fly to didymos asteroids.
Supervisor for 27 PhD and 150 Master theses in Space Engineering. Funder and Head of the ASTRA Team. Leader of 3 parabolic flight experiments.
Author of 307 scientific publications, responsible for 46 research contracts financed by both international and national Companies\Agencies; responsible for the realization of 6 nanosatellites to monitor gamma rays bursts events to launch in 2.5 years; responsible for the implementation of a demonstrator for the oxygen extraction from lunar regolith.
