PhDAER Seminar
Monday, June 10, 2024, at 15:00 - Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie Aerospaziali, Politecnico di Milano, Sala Consiglio DAER, Second Floor, Campus Bovisa, Via La Masa, 34, Milano (MI)
This research introduces geometric mechanics-based dynamics formulation and estimation strategies for space vehicle dynamics, with some emphasis on applications in challenging gravitational and perturbed environments.
It details the development and use of state and parameter estimation for vehicles with uncertain mass and inertia properties.
A brief discussion is given on the consideration of actuators such as variable speed control moment gyros in the design.
This work enhances theoretical understanding and provides practical tools for spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control, ultimately supporting robust operations in space exploration and surveillance.
