IntOroadS AT ROME FOR THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ROAD SAFETY

IntOroadS (International Organization for Road Safety) is a non-profit organization born in June 2023 from the collaboration between Politecnico di Milano, in the person of Prof. Marco Anghileri, and AISICO (Associazione Italiana per la Sicurezza della Circolazione, a body of excellence in the field of road safety).
The main purpose of this organization is to bring to the attention of public authorities objective data for the revision of 30-year-old standards for road safety, in compliance with the evolution of the automotive sector and the different criteria that currently regulate mobility on roads today.
On November 9th and 10th 2023, IntOroadS organized the Third International Conference on Road Safety, in collaboration with ERF (European Union Road Federation) and AISICO, under the patronage of PIARC Italy (Permanent International Association of Road Congresses), FEVR (European Federation for Road Victims) and AIFVS (Italian Association of Families and Road Victims), held in Rome at MAXXI, National Museum of 21st Century arts, and at the AISICO Test House & Lab in Pereto (AQ).
In this occasion, Marco Anghileri ↗, Professor of Aerospace structures and Passive safety at Politecnico di Milano, president of technical committee of IntOroadS, was invited to give lecture entitled “The evolution of road equipments for a sustainable and safe future”, during the session dealing with “The need for safety of road users in relation to the present situation”.
