INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR VERTICAL FLIGHT EDUCATION

The Founding Ceremony of the International Alliance for Vertical Flight Education took place on Friday, December 17, at 8 pm, Beijing time.
The Alliance originates from an idea proposed by the Chinese National Key Laboratory of Rotorcraft Aeromechanics at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and is promoted by a team of international organizations, including Politecnico di Milano and its Aerospace Science and Technology Department as one of the founding partners, along with the Vertical Flight Society, the Indian Institute of Science, the Japan Helicopter Society, the Kazan National Research Technical University, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and the University of Glasgow. The purpose of the Alliance is to cooperate to develop global educational goals and standards, support academic and scientific research institutions in vertical flight technologies, strengthen international exchange and cooperation, promote the development of global vertical flight technologies in both theory and application, and cultivate international high-level talents of the vertical flight specialty. The ceremony took place in presence at the Nanjing Dongjiao State Guesthouse, with overseas guests participating online.
