LS-DYNA is one of the most used finite element analysis software worldwide for crashworthiness applications.
Since the 90s, several conferences were held around the world to discuss updates on the use of this software for research and industry.
From 18th to 19th October 2023, the 14th European conference of LS-DYNA was held in Baden-Baden, DE.
More than 400 experts and users of the software convened, giving 180 oral presentations and participating in several workshops.
Among these contributions, particular success was obtained by the representatives of our CrashLab ↗ , who proposed novel applications of the software in the modeling of an anatomically accurate human head for crash analyses and in the parametric optimization of cellular materials.
Our CrashLab presentations were the starting point for important cultural exchanges with other participants, who showed great interest for our work and for possible future collaborative projects.
